Don Simonian

Don has more than 22 consecutive years sanctioned in CCUSBC. He has eight sanctioned 300 games, including back-to-back 300s, and one sanctioned 800 series in CCUSBC. In the last 22 years, he has averaged over 220 many times in CCUSBC with a composite average of 208. When not drilling bowling balls for the PBA or PBA50 Tours or working the weight room at the USBC National Tournament, Don is in Carson City bowling leagues, tournaments, and working at Carson Lanes.

Frank Reynolds

Frank has supported the youth programs in CCUSBC for many years. His support has included coaching, supporting tournaments, as well as providing financial assistance. Frank served in the Marine Corps and has been active in the Bowling for Veterans Link Committee and tournament soliciting raffle donations and related activities. Frank has also served on the CCUSBC Board for 5 years.

This year, as well as the last few years, Mike has been in the top five men averages for CCUSBC. Additionally, during the year Mike had one 300 game, one 800 series and 140 POA series awards.

Jennifer Dunbar

This year, as well as the last few years, Jennifer has had the top woman average for CCUSBC with averages over 200 each of these years. Her current average is 207 for 2023.

​Love of Bowling

Rich Sharp

Rich previously bowled more than 10 years in CCUSBC and was sidelined with a significant injury. Although his children have aged out, he is absolutely dedicated to coaching the youth Saturday morning league and high school competition bowling. He is frequently trying to grow the sport of bowling through his coaching efforts with the youth.

Jenessa Hernandez

Jenessa has been a 7-year member of CCUSBC and qualified for Junior Gold this year and last year. She averaged 206 last year. In March 2022, she bowled her highest series at 766 and followed that on April 9, 2022, with her first 300 game. She is a senior at Douglas County High School, participates in the Douglas County High School Junior ROTC and has plans to join the Army after graduation.

Nolan Pedersen

Nolan joined the bowling 4 years ago, quickly grew roots and began to thrive. In addition to bowling every season with the youth league, he also bowled summer leagues and for Carson High School, where he was elected team captain. He is a positive influence on his bowling peers and often makes motivational reward goals with his teammates. He is coachable, likable and eager to improve. He has a great rapport with coaches and a strong example of sportsmanship. He is a dual-enrolled high school senior and college sophomore who earned his academic letter earlier this year with his strong grades.
